Everything patients and providers ask us most — fittings, garments, insurance, and referrals. Don't see your question? Reach out and we'll help.
If you plan to use insurance, yes. Most insurance plans require a valid prescription and supporting clinical documentation from a recent provider visit that justifies the item being prescribed. Without this documentation, insurance may deny coverage.
If you are paying out of pocket, a prescription is not required. However, because these items are considered retail purchases without a prescription, applicable sales tax will apply.
Even if you are self-paying, we recommend obtaining a prescription whenever possible. It helps ensure we fit you with the most appropriate garment or product based on your provider's diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
For more information about insurance documentation requirements, please see our Compression and Mastectomy Documentation Requirements Guides.
Yes. We recommend scheduling an appointment so we can provide you with the best possible experience. Appointments allow us to verify your insurance benefits, obtain any required prescriptions and supporting documentation before your visit, ensure a certified fitter is available, and reserve enough time for a personalized fitting without feeling rushed.
If you stop by without an appointment, we'll do our best to accommodate you. However, because fitters may be with other patients or we may still need to obtain required documentation, we cannot guarantee same-day service.
Silicone breast forms may be exchanged for a different size within 10 days of your fitting, provided the form is undamaged and returned in its original box, with the packaging in like-new condition.
Because bras and foam breast forms are considered personal wear items, they cannot be returned or exchanged.
Coverage depends on your insurance plan, diagnosis, and the type of garment prescribed. Before we place an order, we'll verify your benefits, explain any out-of-pocket costs, and let you know if prior authorization or additional documentation is needed.
We're contracted with most major insurance plans and are happy to help you understand your coverage before moving forward.
Yes. We are happy to work with patients outside our local service area.
To process your order, we'll need your demographics, a valid prescription, supporting clinical documentation from your provider, and current measurements taken by your physician or therapist. Once we receive everything, we'll verify your benefits, obtain any required authorizations, and coordinate your order.

Yes. Scheduled appointments allow us to verify insurance benefits, obtain any required prescriptions and supporting documentation before the visit, ensure a certified fitter is available, and dedicate the time needed for a comprehensive evaluation and fitting.
If a patient arrives without an appointment, we'll do our best to accommodate them. However, because insurance verification, documentation, and fitter availability can vary, same-day service cannot be guaranteed.

We're contracted with Medicare, Texas Medicaid, and many commercial insurance plans. Before placing any order, we verify your patient's specific benefits, review any expected out-of-pocket costs with the patient, and obtain any required prior authorizations so there are no surprises.
